Windows 7 is a personal computer operating system that was produced by Microsoft as part of the Windows NT family of operating systems. It was released on July
22, 2009, and became generally available on October 22, 2009. Microsoft ended mainstream
support for Windows 7 on January 13, 2015, but extended support will not end
until January 14, 2020.

Microsoft announced that windows 7 support will end on January 14, 2020. Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 on Laptop and Desktop,
and will no longer patch it with security updates.
After
January 14, 2020, if your PC is running Windows 7, it will no longer receive
security updates. Therefore, it's important that you upgrade to a modern
operating system such as Windows 10, which can provide the latest security
updates to help keep you and your data safer.
